A penny for my thoughts!



Guess what? I got my iPhone a new skin again, which I think I will still change again! Gotten it recently in school! Look as if I really love to give my phone a new "clothing"! :/

Anyway, it only cost S$10! I would say it is quite cheap, as compared to Scape! :/

Actually, I don't know why I kept buying iPhone skin especially it's related to flag! Previously, it was UK flag! Now, it is US flag! Now I really feel like getting a new skin for my phone again! Sigh! :/

 

 

Ever since my Year 2 S1 started, I have been super busy! So many things to do, tutorials and more & more projects! Hardly have any time to meet with my friends during the weekends! Furthermore, I still have a project presentation and a written test next week!

 

Out of a sudden, I have a thought of graduating from polytechnic asap! Hardly have any time to rest at all, until now where I have some time to blog!

 

Can't wait for holidays to come! More time to do stuff that I like! Still remember my friends and I were talking about our overseas trip to Thailand together after Year 3! Hopefully, we can go after our graduation! Keeping my fingers crossed for now!

 

Oh yeah! Recently, I have been hearing Thai songs too! You guys have no idea how many Thai songs I have right now in my phone! That's all for today and I'll blog again soon when I have the time! Take care and see you guys soon! :D :D :D

Truly a "death by chocolate" moment today!

Meet up with Lynn and Kailin today for lunch! Well, it's great to meet up with my poly classmates for lunch on a Wednesday though! I brought them to Riders Cafe for brunch today!

 

End up, we still have to take a cab to Bukit Timah Saddle Club cause we alighted at a wrong stop! Feel so bad though! For those who wish to go to Riders Cafe, I would suggest that you reserve a table online cause I realised it is quite crowded though! :/

 

But still, I must say that Riders Cafe is definitely one of the best places to have a simple brunch with your friends! And a great place to catch up too! ;)

We ordered Riders Burger with Rocket, Brie, Relish, Bacon, Onions and Seasoned Fries! 

I must say, it is really nice! Cause the fries wasn't oily at all!



And, of course, the main focus today is Death by Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream!

And, it only cost $12!

Definitely worth it especially to the chocoholics out there!

This is definitely the best chocolate cake I had ever tasted so far!

 

And I have to say, this cake couldn't have a better name for it! We were of course, blown away when the cake was placed in front of us.

 

The serving of thick chocolate sauce made the entire cake moist and chocolately. Not to forget, there were also layers of fudge covering the sponge. The fudge was full of chocolate goodness.

 

The cake wasn’t overly sweet though which in turns retain a slightly bitter sweetness. It was truly a "death by chocolate" moment for the three of us today!

 

However, my advice is that no one even the chocoholics should attempt to finish this on their own. 

 

Are you guys tempted to try this Death by Chocolate now? So it's time to bring your friends and loved ones to try the food there! ;)

Korea: Day 3!

Day 3 of my Korea trip! Read Day 1 and 2 here if you haven't read it! ;)

 

Anyway, I woke up and had breakfast at the hotel before making our way to the first visit site, Kyung Hee University! I must say the university is pretty huge!

 

We had a short talk by two of the representatives from the university as well! I guess that I may even consider studying there perhaps!

Even before we can reach the Peace Palace, I had to climb a steep hill upwards!

And it's really really really steep! :/

Next, we depart to W Hotel for site inspection and study visit!

Saw these in the lift! Quite cool though!

We were also able to visit one of the most expensive suite!

It's pretty expensive though one night will cost around USD7000! :/

 

After visiting W Hotel, we made our way to Korean Culture Centre!

I learnt how to make my very own kimchi! :D

 

Also, managed to try out their kimchis before making the purchases!

 

After our kimchi-making class, we had a photo session in Hanbok!

I realised that I look really sleepy!

Didn't have any good sleep when I was in Korea!

After experiencing the Korean culture, we made our way to Shinchon University Streets for shopping!

 

Didn't really shop much as we had only two hours to shop for Day 3!

 

But I managed to get some skincare products for myself and friends!

 

Went back to Golden Forest Residence, ate supper and slept at around 2am!

Korea: Day 1 and 2!

Hello readers! I am back from Korea!

 

This year has been good to me! And I managed to find out my class for Year 2!

This Korea Trip is definitely one of the highlights of 2013!

 

I went to Korea for a period of 6 days (5 days to be exact as I spent one day travelling) for school immersion trip!

DAY 1:

Had Astons for lunch that day!

DAY 2:

Reached Incheon International Airport at around 6am!

And, by the way, the weather was pretty cold! I like!

And we depart to Seoul City and it took approximately 1 hour!

 

Our first stop was the Everland Theme Park!

It's never too cold for ice cream during the winter season in  Korea!

Shall not elaborate the rides that I took in details.

But I managed to visit the Safari World where one can experience the living nature with wild animals such as lion, bear and even more!

 

Not to forget, Everland World has the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world!

I really find it scary though! Too steep already!

Next, we depart and make our way to KBS Drama Centre in Suwon!

 

Next, we made our way to a local restaurant for dinner!

 

After that, we depart for hotel check-in at Golden Forest Residence (3-stars Tourist Hotel) after dinner.

I must say, I like the hotel! So cool!

 

This hotel is located next to Shindap Station and it provides modern accomoodation with private kitchens, washing machines and flat-screen TVs.

And most importantly, Wi-Fi is free in all areas! ;)

 

Each room at Golden Forest Residence comes with an en suite bathroom, a confortable seating area and facilities like a stove, a fridge and a dressing room!

 

Based on what I know, the price for staying at the hotel should be around S$113 per night!
